The journal is dedicated to publishing quality articles that improve teaching and learning in the field of English language teaching.</p> <p>The journal is published online-only biannually. FELT publishes fully refereed high-quality original research articles and studies for the benefit of teachers and researchers in the field of English Language Teaching.</p> <p>All submissions undergo initial editorial screening for relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, methodological quality, and ethical compliance. Research manuscripts selected for external review are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers through double-anonymous peer review.</p> <p>Manuscripts are screened for text similarity using iThenticate. Similarity reports are assessed by the editorial team in context. Concerns identified before publication may lead to requests for clarification, revision, or rejection. Concerns about published articles are handled through corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions, as appropriate. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Unless otherwise stated on an individual article, articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This license permits non-commercial sharing with appropriate attribution. <p>Dear Focus on ELT contributors and readers,<br /><br />Focus on ELT Journal is now accepting <em>original articles</em> and <em>book reviews</em> for our regular issue to appear in<strong> December 2026 and June 2027</strong>.</p> <p>We welcome submissions dealing with issues about English Language Teaching and Learning for our next issues. The scope of the journal includes, but not limited to, the following subjects:<strong><em> teaching English as a foreign or second language, English language teacher training and education; theory and practice in English language teaching and learning; English language teaching materials; and innovative instructional designs in English language teaching</em></strong>. Submitted articles should focus on directly an aspect related to English language teaching/learning.
